Welcome to my Blog!
This is a blog about my adventurous life and my new businesses. After thinking about it for way too long, I decided in 2008that life had to be even more about showing, enjoying documenting and doing. So for all of my old friends who know me well, you may finally find hear some stories and see yourself in long lost photos. My trips abroad, my dinner parties at home, And Finally my art shows and events. For newcomers, this is a chance to know me or get a small glimpse of who I am and what I do. I welcome your comments.
There will also be quite a bit a misc info about the changes going on in the world and all kinds of interesting topics on everything from health and living relatively stress -free to esoteric symbolism and the odd conspiracy theory. Like - whats gonna happen in 2012? Things to make you go Hmmm... And of course, lots of info on the inner working of the quickly Growing Gelato! Art Salon family and events.
Here's wishing a successful and beautiful 2009 to everyone!

Hello Everyone! I really thought I'd be posting at least once a week and here it is two and a half months later. March and April just flew away and May pretty much over too. well, in any case I'm posting now and that what counts. I tried to upload some pics but the connect wasn't very good so they'll have to wait for the next time. Life is great , I'm finally very close to incorporating my business and I'm doing lots more art. Soon I'll be shooting some experimental films with friends, just because, always the best reason. next post in a few days to be sure!

Ciao Everyone! I'm really trying to keep up with this blog, and I guess it'll have to turn into an informal diary. So whenever I'm bored or free and browsing the web, I'll post something. Thanks again Carlota and Davide for a great New Years and good times in New York City!! All that partying wore me out. I'm working hard on new project proposals so I hope to have lots to tell you guys when I next see ya.
Its February 12th, and lately I've been on the computer a lot. I'm determined to get my talent referral business up and running as well as my event planning. No time to waste, gotta see some profit in 2008, for real. I've been painting a lot more - every other day - I'm aiming to finish 30 painting in 3 different styles by the end of the year. meaning 90 pieces altogether . They will all be the same size, 'bout 16 x 20 or so. Samples will be up online here soon, in a few days or so.
And Very Important News, I finally took the step and went to a martial arts class. Whooo! Incredible! I found out that my body has been relatively DEAD for the past 15 years or so and boy did it scream when I went about waking it up from its slumber. Not to mention the aches and pains the next day.But good Aches and Pains mind you, I've always liked a little bit of positive pain. So I will definitely be continuing!
I ran into Missy and Buck from FeedBuck Galore at the Reboot restaurant last Sunday. There was also Akim Funk Buddha and Zero Boy, both incredible performers. Ana De Gama and Missy and Co. are doing the Heartfest in March and asked me to take part. I said yes of course , as I am long overdue for some interactive cultural activities! Buck told me he'd started a blog as well and we both agreed that it was fun and to keep tabs on the others blog. So whats up Buck!
I'm living alone now and its beautiful< even though I absolutely adored my last roommate Laurie, you couldn't ask for a better person to live with! Whats up beautiful Laurie! Hello from N.Y But I'm alone now, and there's no better way to live - that I can think of at the moment. Although I'm renting the room out sometimes to travelers from abroad, for maybe 10 days to 2 weeks as it still helps to get a bit of bread for the rent.
This week I've also sketched out some new t-shirt designs, or actually recycled old designs that wanted to come out for air. I hope to make at least 3 screens on thursday so I can print something over the weekend for the art Salon. Ah yes, must mention that Gisella and I have finally gotten around to putting together the open house home art sale. Its official name is GELATO! and it's an exclusive Art Salon for Creative People in Brooklyn. Exclusive because we're just a small group and its kind of word of mouth. I'll be showing some art and some t-shirts, and its a chance to invite folks over I haven't seen for awhile. Anyone can come and bring something to Show &Sell if they wish. Or they can just drop by and play games., I just found a backgammon set in the garbage yesterday, in great condition, just missing one piece. Oh the last important piece of info is that I've have purchased a second hand Sony Handy Cam mini DV. Gisella and I both chipped in half so that we could finally set some of the many ideas we have individually on film. And I want to get into learning editing and a bit of 3D modeling down the road. Hope it won't be too long of a road.
thats all for now peace & blessings

The first new post of 2008 will take me back to my trip to Italy in the spring and summer of '07. I hadn't been back to see that wonderful country and my beautiful friends in over 7 years, so much had changed. And of course, it being Italy, even more things had stayed the same. Originally planned for one month, it soon became apparent that that wasn't nearly enough time to see everyone and have time to relax and forget New York. I had at least to go to my main stays, Rome, Torino and Milano. As I have plenty of time later to fill it more detail , I'll just post a couple of photos for now to start things off.
The first photo is me with Viola Adami & Marina Fiorucci in Milano. Then there's Me on the podium with the guys from Gemelli Diversi in an appearance @ FNAC in Torino.
The last party at Francesca's house in Torino, and then the view from Franchi's Torino palazza! Its really a small two room apt in the center, but it might as well be a palace.
